can help customers plan their custom kitchen and bath projects. They offer
the latest European style cabinetry and build our products to order.

Kirsten Flynn, a Palo Alto based designer, is looking for an assistant to work 8-12 hours a week, flexible schedule.  The candidate is someone who truly would like to partner with Kirsten to bring the highest level of satisfaction, design excellence and customer service to her residential clients.

The ideal candidate would be:
A good hand, or CAD drafter.
highly organized
interested in healthy and sustainable design
passionate about residential design

Interested in historical architectural detail.
Entrepreneurial, this is a micro business, and not everyone works well in the changeable environment of a tiny business.
Willing to work at a home office.
Some bookkeeping experience would be helpful.

In this role you will:

 

Job Purpose: Serve clients of Da Vinci Marble by greeting, welcoming and direction them appropriately; notifies design staff of client arrivals, answer questions and provide excellent customer service.

Job Duties:

  • Hours are two days a week plus Saturday 10:00AM to 3:00PM.
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
  • Keep track of our in house design staff appointment calendar.
  • Throughout the day work along with designers to assure all samples, boards are put away promptly so our showroom is always looking its best.
  • Provide back up phone coverage for our front office. Route incoming inquiries to appropriate personnel .
  • Possess in depth knowledge of the functions and features of Da Vinci Marble.
  • Assist in managing appointment calendar for staff of 10 in house designers.
  • Answer general pricing questions, questions on product lead times.
  • Place orders with purchasing department

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent telephone skills, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Handles pressure, Ability to solve problems in a calm manner.
